are you all familiar with the movie effect:

a bum is happily digging through garbage in a public can. people passing by pretend to have the least interest in him, move around him, ignore any question of his and lastly act offended by his presence as if he should be punished for *his crime. though as of yet no law has been made to keep people out of garbage cans there will always be those trying to make an issue of any thing near garbage. they themselves have at least once reached into a garbage can seeing they dropped money in by mistake, and should a police be near by and suggest there is better then garbage digging, they swear they are within the law since it was money.

then we have an other type of joke. a non profit organization sends you a package containing what they themselves consider valuable. it has the usual do it yourself non profit postage sticker printed on its package. such an organization will send this package any where in the world and it be legal, "a deal made between the organization and the post office" saying that as long as you come to us first it makes no difference the circumstance. again, lets take a look at it's content, valuable. if i wanted to forward that package to a friend in need the post office will assist. not knowing this, no matter the content in the package, if you try the same yourself, you just may need to answer to a police. the joke is, without the post office the content can never be valuable enough a job to be done alone. if the post office can catch you at wrapping and printing on the package the "forward to" fallowed by a label with the new address placed over the old address, well lets just say it is rather dramatic...

and an other joke. this must be offensive to some of you. the post office prides themselves in being the authority on how an envelope face should look, going to length to explain where your name is placed over your address and where the receivers name and address goes. where you place the stamp to pay for its travel. have you ever got up the courage to ask a post man at the counter his definition of "name", ha ha? he will say something like 'birth certificate name' or name commonly accepted among all. he may try and get you to ask yourself 'what name got me the money making job i have ( it must be a good name to get me the job )'. 'what do my school teachers, church leaders and older more versed friends call me?'

if you look carefully at the scanned inner parts of an envelope below, you can see these three jokes and many more. just do not be play dirty now boys and girls and try making others live out the "punch line" to any of its jokes. hint: the routine letter and inserted flyers were sent as mail, from a non government employee. funny though, that person felt no conviction. he, she, they included government poisoned ink on paper as if it were nothing and could bother none who first agree with they to its harmlessness. the old angle that if you laugh so i ( the post master ) can hear you, we will both agree that you can laugh at a joke on you, making it all harmless for you. after all, isn't it said by enough that laughing at yourself is a sign of being healthy. we should never try and change that, right, ha, ha? there is an old and true quote, "never interrupt a laughing person, laughter heals and they are being healed, it is both imoral and ilegal to prevent this type of healing"

with that said, continue looking for the good jokes in the mail below, and please let me know of those i do not all ready know, enjoy them all! i do know quite a few though, be warned, ha, ha, but yes try me.

below is a copy of one leter i sent to the postmaster general, a second identical leter went to my local postmaster.

i was taught, and unless it is wrong, the post office is not government. the two, local post office, and government, all though put together by advertising tricks such as envelope print, are separate services to the public.

you have helped me, and possibly others, and are ignorant to it yourselves. let me explain, all though it is procedure and all should know. for years i bummed on the streets while looking for work. i was aware way back even then of there being at least two types of pay for work and i was only interested in honest earnings. at one point i found a check discarded in the post office trash bin. i would from day to day go through the post office trash cans for small items i found, pens, coupons, unused stamps and such. i called a number with it and asked a few dollars for returning the unused check. soon the police arrived, the manager of the post office himself decided i was guilty as charged by police, i was arrested for stealing a check and trying to either cash it, or extort.

i recently received an unstamped ( for not profit ) envelope ( no stamped date ), the return address was the postmaster in washington. like all my mail i opened it. i was surprised to find the biggest scam ( see meaning of scam at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scam ) i have seen up to now. the brochures included folded in a routine letter gave a government address. ha, ha! i read most of it, tried to take it in knowing others would not. my safety is important. among other things, since when has going through trash or garbage cans been a crime against people and where is it in the legal book that it is a punishable crime? now i know how easy it will be for you big shots there to want making its meaning appear larger then it is. i have read similar. much the same is going around to include on the internet cautioning many to be less out with their personal information. you can say several things to convince the more educated people of a great wrong here. one, you can take its present real meaning, as twisted as it is, and try pushing that on people. two, which is the rare case accept for honest people, you can listen, take in, sort out, find the deeper meaning ( fin that is, the result, what can happen if ) and after learning the outcome from spreading the word as is, if it is negative, stop the example. put an end to mailing it. go even further making its meaning more understandable to those who have been mailed it all ready ( and possibly save some innocent people great embarrassment ). because, it appears to me, a stress has all ready been put on certain sentences included. very simply that people should know there are thieves in the world ( i think most people do know ) and all ready know not to give thieves what can be used in reverse against them. it is not a hard lesson. and certainly not put in as many sentences and using the language as you have. the lesson is "do not give to a thief" and not as you put it "stealing from a trash bin is the same as giving to a thief" but you have stressed all if any parts of this all ready well known self defense in such a case. by the way, you should know my name is not "postal customer" for future reference. if it were a case, if it ever mattered at all to any here, my name would be leroy william skees. just how many victims of theft can read and like the title postal customer after having been stolen from or scammed. i know if it were i who first got the worst i certainly would not then see and like postal customer.

i am going to take computer snapshots of all the letter and all the contents and even envelope and post it at two of my personal online forums along with most of this letters content i am mailing to you. you can see the start of my forums at http://mbangpin.bravejournal.com/ and http://advertise-advertise-advertise.50megs.com/cgi-bin/blog . a copy of this leter will also go to my local postmaster

ok. something happened. possibly something in my favor. what ever it was that the public was not getting that they were to pay for as it were missing the public can now not pay for. if there are more then one worker with the village link i just may owe that one of they an apology. after calling 1-800-482-0816 and speaking with a lady who explained all charges dropped i was able to again connect with the internet through the village link. hmmm, wonder if this sad accurence will happen again. do you think this is the end? i have yet to check my email to see if a notice arrived there explaining what the lady explained. if not then i will still have the question 'how could i have known all charges were dropped had i not called and is this fair to leave your customers guessing'. what if they guess wrong and remain disconnected because of a lack of communication? who is right in such a case? can you say it is fair to believe that two wrongs make a right and that a noncommunicating person is worse then a silent employee?

if this were you?

i pay my bills at the start of the month so i rely on the payment notifications getting here. i also know they can be late so i always try and be first to discuss it in advance with any service billling agency. ( i know they fell short short on getting the gift of forgiving so i race them for it. ) i did just such a thing with the village link, my internet service provider. i emailed one of them ( levleit@thevillagelink.com ) recently using their site homepage at http://asheville.thevillagelink.com/ after noticing that the payment notice was a week late. ( for the record i usualy have my notices and pay my bills within the first two weeks of each month. ) ok, so here is how it went...i mailed leviet the 15th of march. any way the idea was to remind them to remind me and thereby keeping my connection ( all the businesses i do business with have an understanding of this, if they forget it is not my fault so therefor i am not punished ). i have been with these people at the village link for years now so if they are any sort of good business they understand, instead they did not. i am hurt. a second notice was mailed off on the 19th of march which meant it would be at least three weeks into the month till i so much as got a notice of payment due, then on good will i had a few days to pop the 20 bucks into the envelope as i always do. now here is the thing you all. the people billing me live in stockbridge, mi but the people i pay are within walking distance of me here in asheville nc. so who do you think pulls the plug, the people that get a nice twenty dollar bill from me each month, or, have they left their dirty work up to their daddy in stockbridge?? go figgure.

i need some feed back on his you all. how would you feel if your isp did you this way? should i wait for them to apologise to me?

exact copy of email to levleit@thevillagelink.com on 3-15-2007 5:32pm

this is to let some one there with the village link know that the notice for payment has not arrived like it always does. will you talk with your mailer telling him/her to mail a copy of the notice to me and then will you mail me back telling me you did so i can rest more at ease i have an internet connection? thank you.

upset, really upset!

ok, to get things started a true story of how my internet service provider finally joined the many other trend fallowing internet service providers and cheated me out of an equal to what i am paying them to stay connected.

--

a number of years back i chose a local internet service provider because of location, i can always go through the business door and speak in person to individuals involved. this is a handy idea in that person to person is always better then through the mail when paying bills. this eye to eye contact works out differences sooner then mail or phone. then i can rest more assured things are working correctly.

for years i used this internet service provider ( the vilage link. check it out at http://asheville.thevillagelink.com/ ) without any real trouble because things were simple. i was only interested in the internet connection. even though they had no anti-virus software in place and i had not for years learned how to access the free email they gave me i was happy. i used my own ant-ivirus program ( both the free avg anti-virus and the free clamwin worked fine with me ) and managed to dig up a few email box providers online. a couple years after i started using the village link as my internet service provider i happened on to what was once called marketscore. i had enjoyed my brief encounter with marketscore but darned if they were not hard to find, they had been moving around! now marketscore had hooked up with a protector and went by the larger name e-trends ( http://www.e-trends.com/Home.aspx ). their purpose is to help provide for consumers by relaying a consumer's information to producers. e-trends even went so far as to offer a little money incentive to their members participating in the surveys e-trends received finished. this was nice and gave me a little extra pocket money quarterly. then something happened that threw me off a little...

for about half a year i was having trouble connecting through the village link. being the trusting individual that i am i never gave any thought to it being their fault. each time i would try and log onlone i would have to repeat the dial up several times before i would loose the message my username was wrong and be connected. then after half a year i tried to use a couple free time limited internet service provider i kept for this very reason. i thought, may be by comparing the ease of all three i can get a better idea of what is happening. well, immediately i saw i could connect through both of them ( netzero and juno ). hmmmmm! the next day i called my local internet service provider. lol and behold, they had finally joined the rank of the likes of america online, are paying their server programmers now to insert language capable of booting their inactive member computers offline. the lady there tells me ( after checking her computer against my name ) "i see you have been with us a long time, there are a lot of our idle users just wasting internet time and this causes a trouble with the lines connecting the few at work, we have started putting a block to this in place, i will change your user name by simply adding a number to its end, now you should have less trouble connecting." ouch!

now i am forced to use small programs that keep me connected ( no where in the agreement with those at the village link is it said "i/you can not use software that alters the function of their software" ). as of yet i have not used the worst of the type which alters the function intended by the programmers working for the village link. my software has internet urls included that it browses so never really am i idle. about the worst my software does is imitate mouse movements. what the village link has done is cut this old 54 year old man out of a quarterly check from e-trends equal to what i pay the village link for their service of keeping me connected. ouch, ouch! not a big deal to most people, especially the younger people who always manage to find a fast buck without trouble.

well you all...my audience, what do you think of this, post your comments please?
